Cancellation Policy

As a courtesy to our patients, we have a Reminder Call System, which will contact the patient or guardian two days prior the scheduled appointment.  Please be reminded that this service is a courtesy only and that the patient or his or her legal guardian is ultimately responsible for confirming, keeping, and scheduling all appointments.

Missed appointments are not only a loss to you, but also to the physician and other patients who could have been seen.  Rudolph Bolling Psychiatry, PC maintains a No-Show/Cancellation Policy wherein appointments that are not cancelled 24 hours in advance of the appointment will be assessed an incremental fee starting at $35.00.  This charge is non-payable by insurance and is the responsibility of the patient/ parent/ guardian.   Continued No-Shows and/or same day cancellations (usually 3 or more) may lead to termination of relationship or referral to another provider.

Late Shows

Patients are allowed 15 minutes after the appointment time to show for an appointment.  Patients who present to the clinic later than 15 minutes after the appointment time may be asked to reschedule.  Refills/ prescriptions for these missed appointments will be written at the sole discretion of the psychiatrist and are subject to refusal.

Medication Refills

During your visit with Dr. Rudolph Bolling you will be given enough prescriptions to last until your next appointment. Medication refill requests should be received by our office one week prior of running out of medication. This will give the office staff time to obtain insurance authorizations that may be needed. No medication refills will be called in after hours or on the weekends. Refills for missed appointments, no shows, or lost prescriptions are the sole discretion of the provider and are subject to refusal.
